Playing lacrosse since he was 10 years old, Michael began his officiating career at age 12 as a timekeeper in the Newmarket Redbirds Lacrosse Association, before becoming an entry level official at age 14.

Michael worked his way up to the level of Referee-in-Chief in Newmarket before his career took him to Northern Ontario in 2010 where he was a mainstay with the GSLA ever since.

Whether coaching or officiating, Michael has provided a wealth of experience to our younger officials and players. 

While no longer serving in a board capacity, he is always happy to discuss any questions about the game, so when you inevitably see him at the rink, say hi!
